Why? 'Durrrr, Japan has a different culture, and One-Punch Man isn't supposed to be taken seriously, HERPY DERP!!! ' I wouldn't make such a big deal about it, if it wasn't for the fact that this is one of the most popular animes airing right now, and people seem to completely condone this homophobia.
That being said, I actually dont think ONE is homophobic or agrees with ppp in any way, because in the manga, after ppp goes on a rant about how its fine if he 'punishes criminals,' ONE puts in a note that says 'wrong.' So ONE doesnt share the same views as the characters he created.
